The following is a list of fat-positive, body-positive, in some way empowering and informative books. They
are listed in no particular order, although the first book, FAT!SO? Because You Don't Have to Apologize
For Your Size by Marilyn Wann is one of my all-time favorites. Non-fiction books are listed first,
fiction books at the end. I have linked all of these books to amazon.com so that they will be easy for you
to see/explore and order if you wish, although I highly encourage supporting small, independent bookstores! I
have read most of these books, but not all of them yet. If you find any content objectionable or less than fat-positive,
please let me know. Not all of the books are quite as fat-positive as I would like -- but many of them make important
points or have good information anyway. As with anything, always read with discerning eyes, take what works for you
and leave the rest. If anybody has any other suggestions for must-read books, please let me know!
